Wigs by Eva started some 30 years ago, when a newly married New Yorker (that’s me) who may not have known it quite then, but has since come to realise that her greatest passion (apart from her family) and life’s work would be to make women the world over feel as beautiful as they deserve to feel.
Jewish tradition (orthodox) requires married women to cover their hair. So when I got married and moved to Australia I searched all over Melbourne for a wig that would reflect my style and personality…and in truth, nothing even came close. So on my next trip home to Brooklyn, I decided to bring back a few wigs for myself and my closest friends. Suffice it to say, my friends told their friends and from a spare room in our home…Wigs by Eva was born.
Three decades later, we’re still proudly operating from the same spare room…
Today I travel the globe hand-selecting the world’s finest wigs in a wide variety of styles and together with my extraordinary team, we customise each wig to suit each one of our client’s unique personality and style. Even though our clientele and selection of wigs have grown exponentially, our personal touch, complete discretion and passion for our clients has never changed.
Experience has shown me time and time again that nothing, but nothing speaks to a woman’s femininity and sense of self, as much as her hair. For a woman to choose to wear a wig – whether it be for religious reasons or because of health challenges – it is a deeply personal and often vulnerable experience.
None of that is lost on us. At Wigs by Eva, we are here to hold your hand every step of the way. We lead with compassion and love above all else. You are our daughter, our mother, our sister, our aunt, our BFF…our family.

Possessing a keen eye for detail she is sure to fine the perfect wig for every person that walks through her door. A proud grandmother and mother, she makes every client feel welcome and cared for.
Hailing from England, Katie refined her craft in the West End doing hair and makeup for some of London’s finest productions. Blessed with a dynamic and energetic personality, Katie works tirelessly to ensure that each wig is sewed, styled and fitted to perfection.
A hairdresser from 16 years of age; Jenna has learnt from the very best, undertaking a 3 year apprenticeship at one of Melbourne’s finest hairdressing academies: Headmasters. Fast-forward 15 years and Jenna is now a mum to two gorgeous kids: Harper and Tait. Years of experience in salons Australia wide has made her a wig expert and a colouring master; able to shade and colour a wig to suit each client’s unique complexion.
